We are a busy interventional pain management practice looking for a strong, reliable Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced procedural environment. Must follow physician schedule to 2 ASC's and Mount Juliet, Murfreesboro, and Brentwood clinics
What You’ll Do
- Room patients and obtain vital signs, pain scores, and relevant history
- Assist physicians during interventional procedures (injections, nerve blocks, RF ablations, spinal cord stimulator trials, etc.)
- Prepare procedure rooms, set up sterile fields, and ensure proper instrument readiness
- Document procedures accurately in the EMR,ECW preferred
- Manage pre- and post-procedure patient instructions and follow-up
- Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and insurance-related tasks
- Support clinic flow so physicians can stay focused on patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred
- Experience in interventional pain, orthopedics, spine, or surgical setting is a strong plus
- Comfortable working in a procedure-heavy environment
- Excellent communication skills and a calm, professional demeanor with patients who are often in significant pain
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask without missing details
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to keep up with a high-volume clinic
