Busy Interventional Pain Management Clinic
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced interventional pain management practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a collaborative team and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical histories
- Assist providers with examinations and in-office procedures
- Prepare procedure rooms and maintain sterile technique as appropriate
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Coordinate patient care, referrals, and follow-up appointments
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and staff
- Perform other clinical and administrative duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Previous clinical experience required; pain management or orthopedic experience is a plus 3-5 years
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with EMR systems- e-clinical works preferred
